Krabbe Disease

Krabbe (pronounced “crab-AY”) is a very rare form of leukodystrophy that affects the part of the brain known as the white matter.  Nerve impulses cannot be conducted properly because of the loss of white matter in the brain.  There is no cure for this genetic disease and it is considered fatal.  For more information on Krabbe, please consider visiting the following websites:

    Hello Karis! That name is so pretty! I saw your picture on the FB page #showmeyourstethescope. How lucky your momma is to have a special little girl like you!
